I am a physical therapist who has researched study-and reading methods with spelling skills and curriculums for the past 8 years. My eldest son memorised spelling and I then saw the warning signs. The system offered no assurance to his educational need which made me realise the huge necessity for a sensible spelling programme. The spelling programme has developed and for the last 3 years, we have noticed the results.
I wanted to bring back the use of play and value in learning which is rewarding in itself. This goal developed into a language programme that eliminates the headaches associated with Afrikaans and English Learning. My three sons, grades 12, 7 and 5 use the same lesson presentations and resources. I am proud to present Kids@Spelling.

I am a veteran home school mother of almost 20 years where my 3 kids have completed their school careers and two are nearly done with their tertiary qualifications. I still have a passion to creatively present new information, making learning fun and exciting. I have gained endless experience and learnt valuable lessons through my own children’s home school years. I have a love for unit studies where the method integrates the practical with abstract ideas, making learning applicable and comprehensible. Your child will understand what he/she has learnt and retains the information learnt.
My experience as a consultant of educational toys, workshop presentations and later the co-ordinator of home school-group activities made me realise that play is part of learning. I can now share my experience gained while raising my own kids through home school learning, guiding families and lending support as a home school consultant. My own tertiary education combined with years of practical experience collaborated the visual, interactive and creativity of learning.
Learning is fun when parents are aware of their child’s learning pattern. This is a great passion of mine, to assist parents with this learning process and ensure that their child will reach their full educational potential.
Leer is lekker as ouers weet wat elke kind se leerstyl is.

This program will help kids, who are not fluent in English, to become more efficient in this universal language.
